First call on snowfall amounts

TerpEast has another excellent and detailed analysis in this post on Eastern WX forums. Basically, he sees a mostly mix/rain event for NYC and along the coast. About 20 miles inland from NYC, mostly a freezing rain and sleet mix and north of there potential for 3-6" or 4-8" of snow.

Nice Matt. Looks very good.

Though I have to admit, I've never read weather news about a place that isn't the place where I'm living, but I'll give it a try.

I must say this is a terribly interesting blog. I randomly stumbeled upon it in my search to kill time. Thank you, Mr. Alvey, my apprecation for NY weather has never been greater.

Now I can really know what to expect. I'm about to leave for LA. Too bad we didn't touch base sooner so you could fill me in about their weather. This looks like fun for you. I enjoyed reading it. Ciao!...Papa Eddie
