I don't know what my large and diverse reader base thinks (editor's note: sarcasm intended), but I think this blog has gotten way too serious lately. So, I am going to spice things up a bit. Inspired by my dinner tonight with Jaime & Phil, I am going to invite you all to comment on your favorite weather personality. In case you were wondering, I am not a weather personality. The best answer receives a prize.
Jamie Douglen's favorite weatherman is John Elliot of WCBS Channel 2 News (see photo). By the looks of this guy, I wouldn't trust him as far as I could kick him. But that's just me and I hang with Bill Evans at my weekly softball game and occasionaly with Mr. G on the weekends.

For most of my life, I would have to say my favorite weather "man" was Bubby Roker. She would have loved this blog. Now it's a toss up between Chris Cimino and Matt Alevy.

There is NO CONTEST. It is Weathermatt!! Weathermatt is a legned in this part of the NY Metropolitan Area. Vestiges of the scientific instumentation still remain on the hillside in Norther New City where his nascent interest in all things meteoroligical developed.. Years after Weathermatt moved on to bluer skies, his public still clamors for the latest forecast.
