Models indicate a eastern track

The GFS model from 2am has the storm off the coast of NJ coast at 12Z Sun (7AM est) with two large areas of precipitation. If the model is right, we could see a significant snowfall early Sunday morning through mid day sunday on eastern long island. The track of the storm (as always) will be key. The current model has the storm far enough off the coast that only eastern long island would see accumulating snow with a slight chance of snow showers for metro NYC. Points west of NYC would not see a flake. Because we are still four days off, it is too early to determine the exact track of the storm.
